qwik-linux-disk-liveCD  Version 1.5.3

Description

This is a bare-bones liveCD respin of FC6. Contains only essential utilities. Automatically logs in as root.
Automatically formats and partitions a harddisk for swap and data storage, mounted to /root, which is used in subsequent reboots.

Potential Uses

This liveCD is a proof of concept in automatically interacting with available drives on a running system. Future liveCD 
releases including this technology shall be used for Gnome-based systems with user data storage on harddisk or flash 
drives, as well as mail/web appliances.

ssh- remote login
rsync- popular file transfer program
telnet/nc- for basic network testing/service discovery
ntfs-3g- for mounting Microsoft NTFS volumes
wget- downloading client
dhclient- networking via DHCP


This liveCD is under the General Public Licence. As with all software under the GPL, USE AT OWN RISK.

Additional Warning- The startup program on the liveCD will ask permission to destroy all data on the harddisk. 
If you do not want your data lost, do not run this on a system with valuable data!
